PLAN 1 Explore traditional Japanese sites in a greenery park@Ueno Park+Nezu (could be the walking tour).
PLAN 2 Visit a local shrine and a temple@Monzen-nakacho+α.
You can see a big Buddhist statue and a unique Buddhist ritual in the temple once every hour if you’d like.
PLAN 3 Visit the shrine related to the anime ‘Your Name’ and meet the famous 3D cat in Shinjuku by public transportation.
If you are interested in art, I recommend adding a museum to your itinerary (total approx. 3-3.5hs).’
Even though entering museums is not free in Japan, you can look at Japanese artworks which are quite different in style from Western art.
